Fourth of July and Four Months!

Okay, so I am really not good at this! I was almost finished with a new post and BAM, it was GONE!! Only to add to the fact that I made my first post over a month ago, and have told NO ONE about the page!! HA, this is for real now, I'm serious.

Hope everyone had a fabulous Fourth of July weekend! Brian and I went to California to celebrate his Grandma's 80th Birthday!! It was a lot of fun. She had a party in the park that included live entertainment, water balloons and my favorite...SNOW CONES!!

On to baby news. I had my 16 week check up appointment today. Yea, we're making progress!! I've lost one pound in the last month, but told the doctor that I had not had breakfast yet, so we were safe! Everyone reminds me how I will gain that weight back, and then some. Thanks for that reminder!! Oh, and what is up with the ladies that feel it necessary to share horror stories with you, as if I am not petrified as it is! For those of you that don't know, I am absolutely terrified of needles! At eight weeks, I had to give blood, and PASSED OUT! Brian is just as bad, if not worse then myself. I mean, I don't even like the smell of anything sterilized! Maybe I will have a natural delivery so I don't have to get an epidural...MAYBE NOT!!

All in all everything looks good and we seem to be on track. The baby's heart rate was at 150, which is right in the middle of where it needs to be. I've been feeling little movement which is undescribable and also so exciting!
