Poor Ashley...poor poor Ashley! This past week hasn't been the best, to say the least. Let's just start off with Sunday (AT CHURCH!). Brian and I drop Ashley off in the nursery, come back after the service to pick up our child who now has swollen eyes and disheveled hair from crying so hard! Why do you ask...she was BIT!! That's right, I said BIT! Thank goodness for the pamphlet we received, where the inside was checked with "Your Child was Bit Today" (insert sarcasm here). I don't know what I would have done if that wasn't provided to us! Really...REALLY?? Oh and just so you know, they can't tell you which child committed the crime, just that yours was on the receiving end.
Really...
this was right after we got home; the next day a lovely bruise appeared...I don't believe this was a first time offender folks!
As if that isn't bad enough...then followed the cold, acidic poop (oh yes my friends...ACIDIC POOP!) that burned and blistered her sweet little bum, the two ear infections and high fever. All by Friday! The cold has since been passed on to Brian and myself, but thank goodness I think Ashley's luck is starting to turn as she is showing improvement and has her smile back! I feel like poop, but no one has bit me...so I'm not complaining!
