Grandma Gast

"Listen to the words" she said...
Smile though your heart is aching

Smile even though it's breaking. When there are clouds in the sky

you'll get by If you smile through your pain and sorrow

Smile and maybe tomorrow You'll see the sun shining through

For you.Light up your face with gladness,

Hide every trace of sadness Although a tear may be ever so near,

That's the time you must keep on trying

Smile, what's the use in crying.

You'll find that life is still worthwhile -
If you just smile.

I am very fortunate to have had the time I've had with this extraordinary lady. She has created countless memories for her children and grandchildren, welcomed everyone into her home with an open heart and loving arms AND most importantly was the center of one amazingly fantastic and beautiful family. There are no words to describe how incredibly special she truly was, you couldn't have created better.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
