Jeepers!!!

Trying to keep Ashley entertained with this heat is not an easy task! Earlier (yes, I'm catching up/combining posts) this summer while at the zoo...we were just in time for the Giraffe Encounter! We were able to feed and take pictures with them up close, it was so cool...I think I enjoyed it a little more than Ashley, see for yourself!

That was our last time at the zoo since the heat is just too much for now. I was told about an indoor (air-conditioned!)"fun house" for smaller kids, great for Ashley's age. They have rides and jumpers and it's inexpensive too...can't go wrong, right?!?! Well, I think I built it up in my head so much, and when we got there they weren't running a lot of the rides for some reason...oh and it was still hot! Oh well, can't complain...Ashley had a great time and got to spend the day with Grandpa!
